Welcome to The Rotary Club of Burntwood and District Website

The Rotary Club of Burntwood prides itself on the highly effective way it delivers the objective established when the Rotary movement was first set up over 100 years ago – ‘Service above Self’. Whilst the tremendous fellowship within the Club, and with other Clubs locally, brings fun into everything the Club does.

Evidence of the Club’s firm belief in ‘Service above Self’ can be seen from the fact that there can be very few children in the Burntwood area that haven’t met Burntwood Rotary’s Santa over the years, when ‘Santa’s Float’ tours the local streets, or from the fact that there are a great many pensioners in Burntwood, Rugeley and Lichfield that have enjoyed the week’s holiday in Blackpool that the Club organises every year.

Club members also work hard every year to raise money for the Club’s charity account, which enables it to regularly give away over £8,000 a year to local and international charitable causes.
Anyone interested in joining the Club can come along to the Park Gate Inn any Wednesday evening, join the Club members for the meal and then sit in on the meeting that follows.
