The Rotary Club of Burntwood and District President - Mr. Denis Robins

The enthusiasm between all of the club members as always impressed me greatly and I would like to build on this strength to increase membership in our club.
We started our associate membership programme three years ago which has been very successful in increasing membership in our club.

For my year I would like the club to concentrate on increasing the club membership by becoming involved in the activities of sporting clubs and making real contacts with Golf, cricket, bowls and any other clubs in our district.
I would like our speakers secretary to arrange speakers from sporting clubs to come to our club give a talk on their sport, and we could reciprocate by sending a Rotarian to their club to explain who we are and what we do, and hopefully encourage new membership.

The membership committee as a very important role to play in keeping existing members enthusiastically together through fellowship and other events you are organising.
I would like to see the people of Burntwood and District more involved in the activities of Burntwood Rotary through the Publicity officer.
