The Rotary Club of Burntwood and District President - Mr. John Freeman

It’s a privilege to be President of “The Rotary Club of Burntwood and District”. Our club was formed in 1987, and belongs to the world wide organisation “Rotary International” which in  itself has been in existence for more than a hundred years.

During the 20 years we have been formed we have assisted in giving money and/or community service to worthwhile projects both internationally and locally

Each President every year (July to June) decides on a Charity that they wish to support and this year 2007/2008 I have chosen the N.S.P.C.C. a very determined organisation trying to eradicate cruelty to children and a number of fund raising events have taken place on behalf of this charity. This is only one of many more organisations we have helped this year.

Fellowship is an important factor for any clubs success, and at Burntwood Club we have loads!
